Cherry Picking

TODAY is such a tiring day.

A total of 18 people went CHERRY picking at a farm which is at a small town called Young, about 4 hours away from Sydney. Waking up at around 7am, my whole family and some friends hopped into 3 vans (8 seater) and cruised into the outskirt land where nature dominates over human existance. In other words, the bushland with so many trees, flowers (especially we passed by so much lavender plantation), sheeps, cows, mountain, ponds, vast grassland that one must say nature is beautiful.

But the funny thing to say was.... I slept most of the time as we drove to our destination. Hahaha... Only at certain points during our driving trip that I woke up and took a peep at the natural scenery before snoozing back to sleep. It was as if I am on some drowsy drug that makes you fall asleep. :p

By the time we got to the cherry farm it was like 2pm. Me and my parents went together to pick cherries. My gosh.. the Cherries were sooooooooooo soooooooooooo delicious. You can pick and eat as many as you want. FREE FREE FREE but the one's you pick and place in the bucket you had to pay before you leave the farm - that is if you wish to take those cherries home. We managed to pick 1.5 bucket full. Woohooooooo!!!~~~~ so much yummy cherries! And it was 10kg which we bought for $4.50 per kg. So cheappppppppp compared to buying in the supermarket here in Sydney. It is like $18 p/kg if you buy it now.

Anyhow... although it was delicious and yummy and fun picking cherries... there were soooo many FLIES FLIES FLIES....  aka "wu ying" !!!!!  Argggghhhh.... so annoying you can never seem to get rid of them. They hover and stick on you like superglue. haizzz....

But also... while picking the cherries I somehow got an allergic reaction with some kind of plant that made me sneeze so much, and made my face, neck, arms so damn itchy. My eyes got so itchy and teary too. I felt like I was drowsy and tired again... but I continued to pick more cherries as it was fun. hehehe...

Right now... I feel a bit sick. My eyes a bit red but it was a very enjoyable and memorable time, mainly because I spent more time with my parents. And watching them happy and enjoying the ocassion is very precious. I haven't spent much time with my parents for such a long time because I have been studying so hard there isn't time to go out with them and all. keke...
